Impact Recruitment has partnered with a surveying firm that is located in Austin, Texas looking for a Survey Project Manager (RPLS).

They work with agencies and design engineers on a wide range of projects, such as topographic design and boundary surveys of all sizes, roadway design, right-of-way acquisition, utility facilities design, water/wastewater projects, drainage and flood studies, streambank stabilization, dam safety surveys, tree surveys, as-built surveys, aerial mapping control, and construction verification and staking.

The qualifications for this candidate require:

Registered Professional Land Surveying license in Texas (RPLS)
10-15 years of experience in management
a CAD background and have history in municipal, design topo and boundary Surveying

The day-to-day technical surveying tasks associated with this position may include, but may not be limited to, the following:

Preparation and coordination of ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys; Land Survey Plats; Subdivision Plats; Topographic and Design Surveys; etcetera.
Examine previous records and evidence to ensure data accuracy.
Processing of field data from the survey field team.
Reviewing and addressing Title Commitments.
Preparation and coordination of Legal Descriptions and Exhibits for Easements; License Agreements; etc.
Managing land survey projects with minimal supervision and oversight;
Building positive relationships with clients and co-workers to ensure effective communication.
Management and scheduling of field crews; Ability to work independently, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
