We are looking for a Survey Party Chief to join our practice in Everett, WA.

Typical Duties:

• Lead survey party in the field, collecting survey data safely and resourcefully
• Work effectively both independently and with survey technicians, project surveyors and engineers
• Operate and maintain survey equipment and vehicles
• Maintain clear and accurate field notes and sketches
• Provide mentorship to survey technicians

Requirements for this position include:

• Proficient with surveying equipment including total stations, laser scanners, GNSS receivers and data collectors (experience with Trimble equipment preferred)
• 3 years’ experience as a Survey Party Chief
• High school diploma or GED diploma
• Effective oral and written communication skills

Preferred experience for this position includes:

• Technical school or community college graduate
• LSIT certificate or PLS
• FAA Part 107 remote pilot certificate

The qualified candidate for this position will have recent experience as a survey party chief in a leadership role including hands on experience with topographic, construction, and boundary surveys. Laser scanning experience and auto-line work a plus.  This position requires physical labor including strenuous walking, digging, staking, and lifting.  The successful candidate must have a valid WA driver’s license, be able to obtain a Flaggers card, be eligible for Military clearance, and must be willing to work overtime and out of town.
