Garver is on the lookout for an Entry-Level Survey Assistant to join our Field Services Team in Rogers, AR. If you love the outdoors, enjoy hands-on work, and want to be part of a team that builds the futurethis might be your perfect fit.

As a Survey Assistant, youll be the right-hand to our survey crew, helping gather critical field data using both traditional and GPS-based methods. Youll get to work with cool tech like electronic total stations, data collectors, and GPS gear to measure distances, elevations, and angles. Youll also help prep field notes and drawings, and assist with surveying for roads, bridges, and flood control projects.

This isnt your average desk jobyoull be out in the field, learning by doing, and making a real impact from day one.

What Youll Be Doing:

  • Setting up and operating surveying equipment (yes, the high-tech kind!)
  • Collecting field data and helping with construction staking
  • Locating boundaries, property lines, monuments, and more
  • Supporting projects that shape communitiesliterally

What Youll Need:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Basic knowledge of surveying principles
  • Valid drivers license and willingness to travel 70% of the time
  • Strong communication and attention to detail
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors in all kinds of weather

Bonus Points If You Have:

  • Associates degree or technical certificate in a related field
  • 2+ years of survey experience with GPS and robotic equipment
  • Enrolled in online survey program
  • Familiarity with the Public Land Survey System (PLSS)
