Job Details

We are seeking an experienced Surgical Technologist / Scrub Tech to join our Ambulatory Surgery Center team in Connecticut.

The Surgical Technologist will support the surgical team by preparing operating rooms, maintaining sterile technique, assisting during procedures, handling instruments and supplies, and helping ensure safe, efficient patient care throughout each case.

This is a strong opportunity for someone who enjoys the operating room environment but wants a more predictable outpatient setting with a stable team and quality-focused workflow.

Responsibilities
Prepare operating rooms, instruments, supplies, and equipment for surgical procedures
Maintain sterile field and follow proper aseptic technique
Scrub in and assist physicians during procedures
Anticipate surgeon and procedure needs
Handle surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment appropriately
Assist with room turnover and case preparation
Follow infection control, safety, and ASC protocols
Work closely with nurses, physicians, anesthesia, and support staff
Help maintain an efficient, organized, and patient-focused surgical environment

Qualifications
Surgical Technologist / Scrub Tech experience
ASC or outpatient surgery experience preferred
Orthopedic experience is a plus
Strong knowledge of sterile technique and surgical instrumentation
Ability to work well in a fast-paced surgical setting
Strong communication, reliability, and attention to detail
Certification preferred, but experience will be considered
