- We are seeking a Surgical Technologist to join the team within our Operating Room at Needham
Key Responsibilities:- Providing sterile instruments to surgical teams during surgery.
- Organizing and arranging sterile instruments and supplies.
- Collecting and removing contaminated items at completion of cases.
- Assisting circulating nurses in maintaining adequate stock of sterile supplies.
- Working collaboratively in a family-centered peri-operative environment.
- Working 10-hour shifts with short-call requirements
Minimum Qualifications
Experience:- 1 year of Surgical Technologist experience preferred.
- Pediatric experience preferred.
License/Certifications:- A certificate from a Surgical Technologist program OR Individuals employed as surgical technologists in a surgical facility on or before July 1, 2013, OR Individuals who have completed a training program for surgical technology in the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps or Coast Guard of the United States or in the United States Public Health Service.
- Pediatric experience preferred.
*Sign-on bonus of $10,000 for full-time hires with over 1 year of direct OR experience as a Surgical Tech (who have not worked here in the past 2 years).*
