Shift Details

• Day Shift – 5x8 Hours
• Monday – Friday
• 07:00 AM – 03:30 PM
• Start times may vary based on surgical schedule and can begin as early as 06:00 AM

Position Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Surgical Technologist for a 13-week contract opportunity with a respected healthcare facility in Iowa. The ideal candidate will have strong operating room experience across multiple surgical specialties and a commitment to maintaining sterile technique, patient safety, and surgical efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain sterile surgical environments
• Assist surgeons and clinical teams during operative procedures
• Handle surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment efficiently
• Follow infection prevention and sterilization protocols
• Support patient safety and operating room workflow
• Participate in scheduled on-call, weekend, and holiday rotations
• Collaborate effectively with surgeons, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams

Required Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist program required
• Surgical Technologist Certification preferred
• Current AHA BLS certification required
• Iowa Mandatory Reporter Training required
• Ability to remain within 30 minutes of the facility while on-call
