Compensation Pay Package: Please reach out for further discussion and negotiation. Regular Pay: $12.20/hr Weekly Housing Stipend: $750 Weekly Meals Stipend: $544 Weekly Gross Pay: $1,733 (subject to completion of scheduled hours)
Key Responsibilities:
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day Shift (6:45 AM – 7:15 PM)
Scheduled Hours: 36hrs
Prepare and maintain sterile surgical fields and operating rooms.
Select, organize, and ensure availability of surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment.
Assist surgeons during trauma, emergency, and elective surgical procedures by anticipating needs and passing instruments efficiently.
Maintain strict adherence to aseptic and infection control standards.
Perform instrument, sponge, and sharps counts according to facility policy.
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
Minimum 2 years of recent, hands-on experience in a Level 1 Trauma Center.
Current Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Strong knowledge of surgical procedures, instrumentation, sterile techniques, and operating room protocols.
