Providence Summit Surgery Center is looking for a Surgical Technologist - full time.
At Providence Summit Surgery Center, we provide first-class surgical services for local communities and recognize our employees as our number one asset. We have been in operation at this location since 1985 and perform over 6,000 surgeries per year. Multi-specialty areas include ENT, GI Lab, General Surgery, GYN, Ophthalmology, Orthopedics, Pain Management, Plastic Surgery, Podiatry, Oral Surgery and Urology.
What You Will Do (Job Summary):
TheSurgical Technicianscrubs for surgical procedures and demonstrates competence while functioning as a member of the surgical team. Maintains a sterile field during surgical procedures. Prepares supplies, instruments, and equipment related to these procedures. Supports the philosophy, objectives, and goals of the Surgery Center. Supports and participates in quality improvement activities.
Monday-Friday daytime work schedule
NO call required
NO Nights, NO Weekends, NO Holiday work hours
The starting pay range is $24 - $45/hour depending on experience
What We Offer(based on status)
Education and/or Experience
·High School Diploma or GED
·Completion of a Scrub Technician Program. Certification preferable.
·2 years experience as a Surgical Scrub Tech in multiple specialties or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
·Able to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. Other skills and abilities: General familiarity with medical terminology as it pertains to anatomy and surgical procedures for an operating room.
·BLS accredited by AHA
