Job Title: Surgical Technician TRAVEL ONLY
Overview:
Join our team as a Surgical Technician dedicated to providing exceptional support during complex surgical procedures. In this vital role, you will assist physicians, handle equipment with precision, and ensure a sterile environment to contribute to patient safety and successful outcomes. Pay: $1,600 Weekly
Shift: 6:30am - 5pm
Required Skills:
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience in a surgical or medical setting
- Proficiency in assisting during procedures and handling surgical equipment
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to exercise good judgment and adapt to changing clinical environments
- Basic analytical skills for technical tasks and troubleshooting
- Capable of maintaining a sterile and safe clinical environment
Preferred Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Graduate from an accepted surgical technology certification course
Other Requirements:
- Certification in Surgical Technology
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association
- Ability to perform physical activities including lifting up to 100 pounds, and exerting 10-20 pounds frequently
- Exposure to blood, body fluids, tissue, and potential communicable diseases in a healthcare setting
- Occupational risk of exposure to hazardous medications, waste, or infectious materials
