What Youll Do
- Assist in procedures competently and professionally.
- Provide direct patient care duties, including assisting physicians during procedures.
- Scrub for surgical procedures and support the surgical team as directed.
- Ensure proper handling, setup, and maintenance of equipment and supplies for procedures.
- Support day-to-day department operations, maintaining readiness for ongoing cases.
- Maintain required clinical knowledge, technical skills, equipment, training, and credentials.
- Ensure cleanliness and disinfection of endoscopes while following quality control measures.
- Adapt to changing priorities in a positive, constructive manner.
What You Need
Required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Graduate of an accepted Surgical Technology certification program
- Certification in Surgical Technology
- BLS through American Heart Association
- 2+ years of experience in specialty
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to be self-directed and demonstrate good judgment
