    Surgical Physician Assistant (PA-C) – Spine & Orthopedic Surgery

    Salary: $130,000–$200,000 annually (commensurate with experience)

    Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday | Daytime Hours Only

    Position Responsibilities

    As a valued member of our clinical team, you will:

    • Evaluate new and established patients with spine, orthopedic, and pain-related conditions

    • Perform comprehensive history and physical examinations

    • Order and interpret diagnostic studies, including imaging and laboratory tests

    • Develop treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians

    • Educate patients regarding diagnoses, treatment options, postoperative recovery, and ongoing care

    • Assist surgeons during orthopedic and spine procedures in the operating room

    • Provide preoperative and postoperative patient management

    • Coordinate care with referring physicians, therapists, imaging facilities, and other healthcare providers

    • Document patient encounters accurately within the electronic medical record

    • Perform office-based procedures consistent with your training and scope of practice

    Qualifications

    • Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program

    • NCCPA Certification

    • Eligible for or currently licensed in New York and New Jersey

    • DEA registration (or ability to obtain)

    • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills

    • Passion for delivering outstanding patient care

    Preferred

    • Surgical experience in Orthopedic Surgery, Spine Surgery, Neurosurgery, General Surgery, or another surgical specialty

    • Comfortable assisting in the operating room

    • Experience in orthopedic, spine, or pain management practice is a plus

    Exceptional new graduates with strong surgical rotations, excellent clinical references, and a genuine interest in orthopedic and spine surgery are strongly encouraged to apply.
