At STERIS, we partner with healthcare and life science teams to make care safer through innovative products and services around the world.
A day in this role
You start your day in a fully equipped mobile repair lab, perform quick safety checks on the box truck, and head to a Pennsylvania hospital. On site, you assess a tray: buff and polish dulled surfaces, realign hinge points, shape and sharpen edges, repair serrations, and perform brazing when needed. You may tackle advanced Dremel operations, Re-cup and Re-jaw work, and laparoscopic inspection. Between tasks, you document services, generate invoices, and step into the hospital frequently to consult with sterile processing teams—then drive to the next facility based on Customer needs.
