Join Our Team as a Surgery Vascular Physician Make a Lasting Impact in Patient Care
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Surgery Vascular Physician to join our dynamic healthcare team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to provide specialized vascular surgical care in a fast-paced hospital environment, positively influencing patient outcomes and advancing your professional growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive vascular surgical services, including bypass and amputations, to adult patients aged 18 and older.
- Support two hospitals, Good Samaritan and Ephrata, located just 25 minutes apart.
- Participate in 24-hour call shifts, primarily scheduled on Fridays starting at 7 am or 3 pm through Mondays at 7 am.
- Collaborate with advanced practice providers (APPs) for first assist procedures.
- Manage an average of two callbacks per day via EPIC electronic medical records system.
- Ensure adherence to hospital protocols and maintain high standards of care.
Required Skills:
- Board Certified (BC) or Board Eligible (BE) in Vascular Surgery.
- Valid PA medical license.
- DEA certification.
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant clinical experience.
- Proficiency in vascular surgical procedures and patient management.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with hospital-based vascular surgery.
- Additional certifications or training in vascular interventions.
- Experience working with EPIC EMR system.
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations with professionalism and efficiency.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Medical degree from a recognized institution.
- Completed residency in Vascular Surgery.
- Prior experience in a hospital setting with similar patient demographics.
Other Requirements:
- Valid PA medical license and DEA certification.
- Willingness to work 24-hour shifts with weekend coverage.
- Credentialing completion within 90 days; candidates with clean files and interim credentials are encouraged to apply.
