  • Experience: Prior trauma or surgical PA experience preferred; recent inpatient rounding experience a plus.
  • Licenses/Certs: Willing to license in Idaho; current BLS/ACLS/PALS/ATLS certifications required

What You’ll Do
  • Provide trauma and surgical support within a busy hospital setting.
  • Chart and document patient encounters accurately using Epic EMR.
  • Assist in rounding, patient assessments, and developing treatment plans.
  • Respond to trauma activations and perform high-acuity procedures.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care.
  • Manage trauma flow during scheduled shifts, including limited on-call duties.
  • Contribute to a team committed to delivering excellent trauma care.

What You Need
Required:
  • Valid Physician Assistant license in Idaho (or willingness to obtain)
  • Experience with trauma or surgical patient management
  • BLS, ACLS, PALS, ATLS certifications
  • Strong charting and communication skills

Preferred:
  • Prior inpatient trauma rounding experience
  • Recent surgical or trauma PA experience in a high-acuity setting
  • Certification in emergency medicine or related specialties
