Required Skills:
- Current Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) license with certification as a Nurse Practitioner
- Board Certified in Trauma Surgery or Surgical Critical Care
- Active South Carolina (SC) license
- Strong clinical skills in trauma assessment, management, and emergency procedures
- Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities
- Proficiency in electronic medical records, preferably Epic
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience in pediatric trauma care
- Familiarity with trauma transfer protocols
- Additional certifications such as PALS or ATLS
- Prior experience working in high-volume trauma centers
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing (MSN, DNP)
- At least 2 years of trauma or emergency department experience
- Previous work in busy hospital trauma settings
Other Requirements:
- Must pass background checks and credentialing within the specified timeframe (60 days with SC license, 90-120 days without)
- Willing to work 11-hour day shifts (7:00 AM - 6:00 PM)
- Availability for 7 consecutive shifts on a 7/7 schedule
- Compliant with all applicable licensure, certification, and hospital policies
- Commitment to high-quality patient care in adult trauma cases, with occasional pediatric transfers
