The OR RN is responsible for the care of the patients in the operating room. The nurse is accountable for ongoing evaluation, provision of care, and documentation of all components of care delivered to customers within the perioperative environment utilizing the nursing process. The RN coordinates care with the team assigned to care for each patient, and communicates concerns to the OR, preoperative, and postoperative staff in a professional manner to ensure patient safety.

1. Must be a graduate of accredited college or university.
2. Registered Professional Nurse with current state licensure.
3. BLS Certification Required.

5. Must pass the AORN Perioperative 101 course during our Mentorship Program if no prior experience. OR experience is preferred but not required.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
1. Will be required to lift patients frequently, requiring the ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
