Required Skills:
Board Certification (BC or BE) in Cardiothoracic Surgery
Valid PA Medical License
DEA Certification
Minimum of 1 year relevant clinical experience
Proficiency in EPIC Electronic Medical Records system
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Strong decision-making and interpersonal skills
Nice to Have Skills:
Experience with TAVR procedures and structural heart interventions
Prior experience in hospital-based urgent care and outpatient clinics
Ability to manage complex cases under pressure
Excellent communication skills with patients and staff
Preferred Education and Experience:
MD or DO Degree from an accredited institution
Fellowship training in Cardiothoracic Surgery
At least one year of post-certification clinical practice in a hospital setting
Other Requirements:
Current PA medical license and DEA registration
Willingness to support clinic duties, procedures, and call shifts as scheduled
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, including night and 24-hour call shifts
Ability to complete credentialing within 90 days; temps may be considered with a clean file
