The SMT Engineer role involves supporting product development, troubleshooting, and process optimization for electronic interconnect solutions.
They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve existing products, assist with new designs, and provide technical support to customers, including travel when needed.
Responsibilities include reviewing engineering drawings, developing processing recommendations for SMT assembly, and assisting with equipment maintenance and procurement.
Candidates should have at least 5 years of SMT process engineering experience, strong problem-solving and communication skills, and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Proficiency in process control standards, technical writing, and familiarity with design software is preferred.
