This is a full-time position with the schedule of:

• Tuesday - Thursday 5:00am - 9:00am and Friday - Saturday 5:00am - 9:00am and 3:00pm - 9:00pm

Responsibilities

• Complete and maintain certification to either:

• Safely operate large-capacity vehicles (10-12 passenger vans and wheelchair buses) in compliance with DOT regulations and local laws, or

• Administer medications in accordance with 65G-7 regulations and Quest procedures, including medication administration, monitoring, documentation, counts, disposal, and pharmacy communication

• Provide compassionate support while ensuring dignity, respect, personal rights, and professional communication for all individuals served.

• Implement active treatment plans, behavior supports, and service goals that promote independence, daily living skills, socialization, leisure activities, and community inclusion.

• Accurately complete all required documentation related to care, activities, health status, and program outcomes.

• Assist with personal care needs, including bathing, dressing, hygiene, toileting, feeding, and mobility support.

• Safely lift, transfer, and reposition individuals using approved techniques and equipment.

• Monitor and report health, safety, behavioral, and equipment concerns; respond appropriately to emergencies and incidents, including reporting suspected abuse, neglect, or exploitation.

• Provide supervision, engagement, and meaningful social interaction throughout the day.

• Maintain a safe, clean living environment through routine housekeeping duties.

• Attend required trainings and meetings, follow all Quest policies and procedures, and perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and at least 18 years of age.
• One year of experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities, or in a behavioral health, psychiatric, nursing home, or childcare setting; or qualifying college, vocational, or technical training may substitute for experience.
• Valid Florida Driver's License with no more than two moving violations in the past three years.
• Authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English.
• Ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs., assist with transfers and positioning, and respond to behavioral or emergency situations.
• Strong communication, teamwork, confidentiality, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to remain calm in crisis situations.
• Ability to safely operate large-capacity vehicles or accurately administer medications in compliance with applicable regulations.
