The Research Foundation for Mental Hygiene is seeking a qualified candidate to fill a part-time Supported Education and Employment Specialist position. he Audubon/OnTrackNY Step-Up Program is a multi-disciplinary program for young-adults with a primary psychotic disorder transitioning from the OnTrackNY coordinated specialty care program to the Audubon Clinic. The Step-Up Program is based at the Audubon Clinic, part of the Washington Heights Community Service within the NYS Psychiatric Institute/ Columbia Department of Psychiatry, a premier research, clinical, and academic center. The program aims to support these young adults in their recovery and provides comprehensive mental health care, case management support, peer support, education/employment support, and on-site medical and nursing services.
The Supported Education Employment Specialist is a part-time, on-site position supporting participants in meeting their goals for school and work. The approach to care is hopeful, recovery-oriented, collaborative and engaging to young people. The Supported Education Employment Specialist will report to the Step-Up Program Director.
