This role combines staff supervision, program management, problem-solving, and client support. You’ll supervise a team of four staff, oversee transportation services, provide oversight and backup support for nutrition services, and work closely with staff across the agency to ensure clients receive compassionate, effective services.

We’re looking for someone who can balance empathy with accountability, navigate conflict professionally, support staff growth, and stay focused on what best serves clients.

What You'll Be Responsible For:

  • Supervise, coach, mentor, and develop support services staff
  • Conduct hiring, training, performance evaluations, and corrective action when needed
  • Set clear expectations and hold staff accountable for performance and service standards
  • Help staff build confidence, critical thinking skills, and sound judgment
  • Foster a collaborative, respectful team environment

Manage Programs

  • Oversee transportation services, including WeGo bus passes and Access Ride, gas cards, Uber Health, and other transportation resources
  • Monitor program budgets, expenditures, inventory, utilization, and compliance
  • Prepare documentation for grant billing, reporting, audits, and financial reviews
  • Provide oversight and backup support for the CARES Store and nutrition services
  • Troubleshoot problems, adapt to changing systems, and improve program operations

Support Clients & Agency Operations

  • Serve as an escalation point for complex client concerns
  • Assist staff in finding solutions that balance client needs, program requirements, and available resources
  • Provide direct service delivery when needed
  • Build strong relationships with staff, community partners, vendors, and funders
  • Participate in agency initiatives, quality improvement efforts, and community partnerships

Qualifications You'll Need:

  • Master’s degree required. Equivalent combinations of education, leadership experience, and program management experience may be considered.
  • Three years of supervisory experience in human services, healthcare, nonprofit management, public health, or a related field
  • Experience managing programs, budgets, reporting requirements, and operational processes
  • Experience coaching, developing, and holding staff accountable
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to learn and manage multiple software systems
  • Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and automobile liability insurance

Preferred Qualifications:
