Duties

Help

As a Support Services Contract Analyst, you will:

  • Develops and manages contracts for services, ensuring all legal and regulatory requirements are met from the initial planning stages through the final closeout of the contract.
  • Serves as the main advisor on all procurement-related issues, offering expert guidance to project teams and leadership to ensure the government obtains the best value.
  • Leads negotiations with contractors to resolve issues, adjust contract terms, and ensure that all parties adhere to the agreed-upon conditions.
  • Monitors contractor performance to ensure that all services are delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with the quality standards outlined in the contract.
  • Analyzes and makes recommendations on contract-related financial matters, including evaluating costs, managing budgets, and approving payments.
  • Prepares and maintains all necessary contract files and documentation to ensure a complete and accurate record of all contractual actions and decisions is readily available.

Qualifications

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: A qualified candidates online application and resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level GS-13 in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position is defined as meeting 2 of the 3 of the following:

  • Develop and execute acquisition strategies for high value support services, including drafting performance based SOWs/PWSs, establishing evaluation criteria, and defining performance metrics.
  • Lead complex contract negotiations and vendor engagements, finalizing terms, executing intricate modifications, and resolving high stakes performance or billing disputes.
  • Conduct comprehensive contract oversight and financial analysis, monitoring vendor performance against SLAs/QASPs, reviewing expenditures, performing cost/price analyses, and auditing invoices for compliance and cost control.
