Job Overview:
The Support Engineer - Information Technology IV will be responsible for providing end-user desktop support, evaluating, implementing, and supporting various platforms, hardware, operating systems, software, and system tools. This role involves troubleshooting, problem management, and ensuring platform performance and availability. The ideal candidate will work closely with end users and other business units to resolve technical issues and implement solutions effectively.
Responsibilities:
Provide end-user support for Microsoft Copilot, Outlook, and Teams.
Support and troubleshoot Microsoft 365 and Office applications.
Perform root cause analysis to quickly recover from service interruptions and prevent recurring issues.
Implement releases, upgrades, and changes to platforms with minimal business impact.
Monitor, manage, and tune platforms to ensure expected availability and performance levels.
Design and document enterprise standards and procedures.
Ensure platforms conform to established enterprise and industry standards.
Provide on-site and on-call 24/7 support as needed.
Coordinate activities with internal and external technology owners and service providers.
Plan and implement lifecycle management of software and hardware.
Stay updated on industry and technology trends.
Analyze, design, and document platforms/systems to meet enterprise requirements.
Install, customize, maintain, test, and troubleshoot operating systems and hardware systems.
Qualifications:
Associate's degree or industry certification in an applicable IT field, or two years of experience supporting desktop applications, especially Microsoft Copilot, M365, and Outlook.
Knowledge of Microsoft Copilot, Microsoft 365, and Microsoft Office desktop applications.
Thorough understanding of server and desktop-based technology utilizing network systems.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact with all levels of employees and management.
Integrity and trustworthiness, with the ability to present the truth in an appropriate and helpful manner.
Teamwork skills, including the ability to contribute to discussions and mentor team members.
Technical expertise with a commitment to staying updated on industry practices and technical developments.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Reliable and punctual attendance is essential.
Successful completion of interviews required to meet job qualifications.
