South Mississippi Regional Center is a program of the Mississippi Department of Mental Health providing care and support for people with intellectual and other developmental disabilities. About the Position

WORK LOCATION: GAUTIER COMMUNITY HOMES, 218 GRAVELINE RD., GAUTIER, MS 39553 TITLE/PAY: Support Care Professional Team Lead $31,744.97 Annually ($15.26 per hour) SCHEDULE/SHIFTS: 1st shift: 6:00 A.M. - 2:30 P.M. - RESPONSIBILITIES: This is semi-skilled-level work in the care and supervision of clients at a state mental health facility. First-level supervisory position accountable for professional program planning and management for a treatment sub-unit or multiple residential locations. Develops, implements, coordinates, and evaluates individual habilitation or treatment plans for individuals with developmental disabilities. Supervises and works on the floor with direct care staff. Other duties may apply as assigned. - EXPERIENCE/EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Requires graduation from a standard four-year high school or equivalent (GED/Transcripts); AND 3-5+ years of direct care experience with a minimum of 1 year of supervisory experience. - HOW TO APPLY: Applicants must apply at South Mississippi Regional Center, Human Resources Department, 1170 West Rail Road Street, Long Beach, MS 39560, before 4:00 p.m. Monday-Friday.
