Supply Chain – Planning Process Expert

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Supply Chain Planning Expert to lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of integrated planning capabilities across the organization. This role will play a critical part in transforming end-to-end supply chain planning processes through advanced planning solutions, data-driven decision-making, and cross-functional collaboration.

The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in supply chain planning, SAP S/4HANA and IBP implementations, demand and supply planning, process governance, and business transformation within complex operational environments. The role requires a strong combination of strategic thinking, technical capability, stakeholder engagement, and operational execution.

Key Responsibilities

Project Implementation & Planning Transformation

  • Lead the definition and implementation of end-to-end supply chain planning process requirements across demand, supply, inventory, and integrated business planning functions.
  • Translate complex US-specific clinical and market demand patterns into scalable technical requirements within SAP S/4HANA and SAP IBP environments.
  • Drive planning solution design, configuration alignment, and deployment activities to support business transformation initiatives.
  • Oversee data model design, master data readiness, integration validation, user acceptance testing (UAT), cut-over planning, and go-live execution.
  • Collaborate with business, IT, and implementation partners to ensure successful delivery of planning capabilities aligned with organizational objectives.
  • Identify process gaps, system inefficiencies, and optimization opportunities to improve planning accuracy, responsiveness, and operational agility.

End-to-End Process Governance

  • Define, shape, and continuously evolve the integrated planning vision, ensuring strong alignment between demand, supply, inventory, and broader business priorities.
  • Establish governance frameworks, planning standards, and performance metrics to drive consistency and operational excellence across planning functions.
  • Champion standardization, simplification, and harmonization of planning processes across US Clinics business unit.
  • Drive the adoption of advanced analytics, scenario planning, forecasting methodologies, and digital planning capabilities to improve decision quality and business outcomes.
  • Act as a trusted strategic advisor to business stakeholders by translating market dynamics, demand variability, and operational constraints into actionable planning insights.
  • Facilitate cross-functional alignment between Supply Chain, Commercial, Operations, Finance, and IT teams to support integrated decision-making.
  • Support organizational change management initiatives and ensure successful user adoption of new planning processes and technologies.

Experience, know-how and skills critical for success

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Engineering, Business, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in supply chain planning, integrated business planning, or supply chain transformation roles.
  • Proven experience leading or supporting SAP S/4HANA and SAP IBP implementation programs.
  • Strong understanding of demand planning, supply planning, inventory optimization, forecasting, and Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP)/Integrated Business Planning (IBP).
  • Experience translating business requirements into technical and functional solution designs.
  • Demonstrated expertise in planning process governance, operational excellence, and large-scale transformation initiatives.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence senior leadership and cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience within healthcare, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, clinical supply chain, or highly regulated industries.
  • Knowledge of advanced analytics, predictive forecasting, and scenario modeling techniques.
  • Familiarity with project delivery methodologies and enterprise transformation programs.
  • APICS/ASCM certification or equivalent supply chain certification preferred.
  • Experience working within global, matrixed organizations.
