What's Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or other related field
  • 5+ years of progressive supply chain management experience
  • Experience leading supply chain teams
  • Strong knowledge of ERP/MRP systems
  • Proven negotiation skills
  • Commitment to safety, integrity, and continuous improvement
  • Supply Chain certification preferred
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office, including Excel

Responsibilities:

  • Convert customer delivery expectations into material planning strategies and processes that support efficient, cost-effective production and high customer satisfaction.
  • Manage ERP systems and documentation related to materials management, scheduling, logistics, and procurement.
  • Negotiate supplier agreements, pricing structures, and lead-time commitments to enhance profitability.
  • Partner with sales, production, engineering, and customer support teams to achieve company objectives.
  • Develop and execute strategic inventory plans-including safety stock levels, EOQ, and minimum order quantities.
  • Maintain high levels of inventory accuracy within ERP/MRP systems.
  • Lead purchasing, scheduling, shipping, and receiving teams by establishing goals and tracking performance.
  • Build a culture of engagement through strong communication, talent development, and skill-building initiatives.
  • Monitor, disposition, and reduce excess, slow-moving, and obsolete inventory.
  • Implement initiatives to enhance service levels, reduce lead times, improve cost efficiency, and strengthen cross-department collaboration.
  • Drive process improvements across sourcing, logistics, and materials handling functions.
  • Evaluate supplier performance across cost, delivery, and quality; address shortages and resolve quality issues.
  • Prepare and analyze weekly and monthly KPIs to improve on-time delivery, utilization, and cost savings.
  • Promote workplace safety through training, coaching, and partnership with the site Safety Manager; ensure adherence to safety procedures and proper reporting of incidents.
  • Optimize warehouse operations and maintain accurate documentation of supplier performance.
  • Support continuous improvement efforts to increase efficiency throughout the supply chain.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
