We have been a leading manufacturer of seals and rubber products since 1955. Capabilities include i n-house tool shop and mold design for quick prototyping of injection, compression and transfer tools, compound development and material test lab with over 1000 existing formulations.

We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager to lead procurement, supplier management, inventory planning, and supply chain operations within a complex manufacturing environment. This is a high-impact leadership role reporting directly to the President and serving as a key member of the company's strategic leadership team.

The ideal candidate will bring a strong manufacturing supply chain background, experience leading purchasing teams, and a passion for continuous improvement, supplier development, and operational excellence.

Job Details
  • Lead all purchasing and supply chain activities across the organization
  • Oversee MRP planning, inventory management, demand forecasting, and production planning
  • Ensure material availability while balancing inventory levels and cash flow objectives
  • Maintain supplier pricing, lead times, product configurations, and inventory parameters
  • Manage and mentor purchasing team members and buyers

Supplier Management

  • Develop and maintain strategic supplier relationships
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service agreements
  • Evaluate supplier performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives
  • Identify and qualify new suppliers, products, and services
  • Ensure supplier compliance with quality and regulatory requirements

Operational Excellence

  • Develop and track key performance indicators for the supply chain organization
  • Partner closely with operations, sales, engineering, quality, and finance teams
  • Lead process improvement initiatives focused on cost, quality, and delivery performance
  • Support technology improvements and business process optimization

ERP Implementation

  • Play a key leadership role in the selection, implementation, and optimization of a new ERP system
  • Help design and build scalable processes that will support the business for years to come

Qualifications
Required

  • 10+ years of supply chain, purchasing, or procurement leadership experience within a manufacturing environment
  • Strong experience with MRP systems, inventory management, forecasting, and supplier management
  • Proven negotiation and vendor management skills
  • Experience working within ISO 9001, ISO 13485, AS9100, or similar quality systems
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial manufacturing environment
  • Postsecondary degree required

Preferred

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Operations, Business, or a related field
  • ERP implementation experience
  • Experience leading teams and driving continuous improvement initiatives
