As a comprehensive acute care facility, the hospital offers a full scope of medical and surgical services, including cardiovascular, general surgery, orthopedics, and women’s services with labor and delivery, alongside a future NICU. Opening with 124 beds, the 455,000 square foot hospital will be able to expand to up to 240 beds. State-of-the-art facilities include operating rooms, catheterization labs, interventional radiology, a vascular lab, an ICU and a full-service emergency department.

Position Summary:

Responsible for assisting with supporting the daily operational needs.

Responsibilities:

Essential Functions
• Assists with maintaining supply locationsto include the establishment, organization, labeling, cleaning, assessment, receipt, delivery
and restocking of supplies.
• Responsible for rotating dated stock and maintaining a working stock level of supplies in the warehouse and par locations, and the
removal of overstocked supplies.
• Monitors the condition of supplies and the supply area for appropriate par levels, cleanliness of supply locations and accuracy of
labeling.
• Participates in the put away and validation process of perpetual inventoried items.
• Uses hand-held device to inventory supply locations and charge out supplies to various departments.
• Uses pick tickets to pick inventory for re-stock orders, emergency, and rush orders.
• Answers the telephone or customer requests with appropriate Orlando Health commitment to excellence customer service
responses.
• Assists with disposing of cardboard and trash into designated trash receptacles.
• Provides support for annual or bi-annual inventory counts to determine asset value and additional inventory as requested.
• Maintains reasonably regular, punctual attendance consistent with Orlando Health policies, the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state
and local standards.
• Engages customers on a regular basis to ensure good service. This requires professional presence to effectively interact with
clinicians, administrators, colleagues, and vendors.
• Maintains safe and clean working area including removal and disposal of waste material in an appropriate manner.
• Other duties as assigned or needed.

• Processes and logs all system file updates related to supply location inventory updates and replenishment.
• Performs cycle counts as needed.
• Presents a consistent professional image in dress and communications.
• Operates materials handling equipment, as needed.
• Maintains compliance with all Orlando Health policies and procedure

Qualifications:

Education/Training/Qualifications
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Basic computer skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills, preferred


Licensure/Certification
Valid driver’s license
