Supply Chain Engineer 2

Job Summary

The Supply Chain Engineer II is responsible for managing inbound and outbound material flow to ensure the timely and efficient receipt and delivery of materials throughout the supply chain. This role supports logistics operations, transportation performance, and continuous improvement initiatives to maintain a high-velocity material flow environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage inbound and outbound logistics operations, ensuring materials are shipped, received, stored, and delivered efficiently
• Provide logistics management, analysis, and support of inbound and outbound material flow
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to:
  • Eliminate excess inventory
  • Manage material flow aligned with PFEP-defined flow paths
• Develop, maintain, and support transportation requirements, including carrier and mode selection
• Monitor carrier performance, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions
• Reduce transportation costs and premium freight expense
• Improve carrier quality, container scheduling, and availability
• Support business units and facilities in resolving transportation and logistics issues
• Manage facility freight expenses, including claims for lost or damaged shipments and resolving non-compliance issues
