Schedule: Hybrid – in office Tuesday through Thursday; remote Monday and Friday
Duration: 12 months (contract-to-hire potential)

Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Category Manager – Supply Chain with SME-level experience in Coupa and strong executive-level communication skills. This role is responsible for driving sourcing strategies, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring cost savings and supply chain efficiency across a diverse portfolio of categories.
The Sr. Category Manager will take ownership of Coupa administration, oversee RFx processes, and provide training to internal users to optimize functionality and adoption of the platform. This role also includes supporting contract management, supplier performance reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage a diverse spend portfolio across IT software/hardware, consulting, and travel.
Develop and execute sourcing strategies aligned with business and cost objectives.
Lead RFx events in Coupa; conduct bid analysis, prepare sourcing recommendations, and execute awards.
Conduct quarterly business reviews (QBRs) with top-tier suppliers.
Manage contracts in collaboration with legal, business leaders, and suppliers.
Drive supplier improvement initiatives using data, feedback, and best practices.
Identify supply chain risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
Lead change management when introducing new sourcing programs; track compliance and results.
Act as SME for Coupa system administration, audits, troubleshooting, and process optimization.
Train and support internal users on Coupa functionality (contracts, RFx, reporting).
Monitor KPIs and develop strategies for continuous improvement.
Collaborate with Process Improvement and Data/Digital teams on system enhancements and issue resolution.
Required Skills:
Coupa expertise (SME-level) – sourcing, contracts, RFx, reporting.
Executive-level communication skills for engaging with senior stakeholders.
Strong knowledge of supplier management, contract management, and sourcing strategies.
Proven analytical and data-driven decision-making background.
Ability to influence, negotiate, and build strong cross-functional relationships.
Strong organizational and prioritization skills; capable of managing multiple priorities.
Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred).
7+ years of experience in Supply Chain, Procurement, or IT support roles.
Demonstrated success in category management (software/hardware, consulting, travel).
Experience in procurement operations, vendor management, and business process design.
Coupa expertise required; proficiency in JDE or similar platforms preferred.
Additional Information
Contract-to-hire opportunity – candidates must be open to permanent conversion.
Full-time, 40 hours per week.
