Who You Are

Global Supply Chain, Category Management Manager, Senior Staff within the ADP organization

What You Will Be Doing

A Category Management Manager within the Advanced Development Programs organization will execute sourcing strategies for development programs and emerging technologies. This position is responsible for managing a team of professional Subcontract Administrators and Subcontract Managers who administer subcontracts and purchase orders for several Advanced Development Programs. They will collaborate with the our Material Program Managers on the overall Acquisition Strategy across all the Programs we support. This position is responsible for directing all phases of the subcontracts from sourcing strategies, initiation, Request for proposals (RFP's), proposals, negotiations, issuing purchase orders, long term agreements, internal audits, cost accountability executive reviews, supplier reviews, program reviews, contract closeout, compliance requirements and all associated metrics. This position is responsible for coordinating employee selection/hiring, training, development, performance and assessments, work assignments, and disciplinary actions.

This position is located at a facility that requires special access; you must be a US Citizen and possess an Active US Government Secret Security Clearance to be considered.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college
  • Demonstrated experience working with FAR/DFAR regulations
  • Experience with subcontract cost, quality, schedule and technical program performance
  • Experience in Aerospace & Defense (A & D) Industry, driving results within a metric based environment
  • Experience as a Manager and/or Team Lead including; identifying & building organizational talent, team building and individual contributor growth/development
  • Must have an active Secret Security clearance to be considered for this role

Desired Skills:

  • Experience interfacing and interacting with senior leaders of the organization
  • Demonstrated organizational skills to handle multiple overlapping projects, simultaneously
  • Negotiations experience, in a Truth in Negotiations (TINA) environment
  • Procurement experience to include major sub systems, and mission systems, per both FAR 15 and FAR 12
  • Experience in training, coaching, and mentoring new and emerging talent
  • Experience with SAP
  • Experience leading cross functional initiatives
  • Experience addressing & resolving complex matters/solutions with Senior Leadership, customers & suppliers
  • Experience with continuous improvement and ability to implement change and drive efficiency.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
