Midwest Veterinary Supply is hiring a Supply Chain Budgeting & Forecasting Manager. This role will be hybrid out of our Lakeville, MN Corporate office. The manager leads financial planning, forecasting, and inventory budgeting across warehouse and supply chain operations. Responsibilities include developing annual budgets, managing open‑to‑buy plans, driving accurate category and item‑level forecasts, and ensuring the integrity of item master data. Through deep analysis and performance measurement, the manager identifies risks, opportunities, and efficiencies that support operational excellence and the organization's fiscal health.Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Planning and BudgetingDevelop annual budgets for warehouse and supply chain expense accountsLead Inventory and Open‑to‑Buy Planning to support financial and operational goalsMonitor budget performance, identify variances, and recommend corrective actionsForecastingOwn Category, Vendor, and Item level forecastingMeasure forecast accuracy while continuously refining forecast modelsPartner with vendors, inventory, and operations teams to incorporate market trends and demand signalsInventory Financial ManagementReporting and analysis of inventory healthIdentify risks and opportunities within inventory and supply chainProvide reporting and insights that guide replenishment and operational decisionsData Accuracy and GovernanceOversee item master data, ensuring accuracy of attributes, costs, and inputsMaintain compliance with organizational data standardsEnsure forecasts, item costs, and financial inputs are accurate and up to datePerform other duties as assignedSupervisory ResponsibilitiesUp to 3 direct reportsOrganizational CompetenciesMust be able to perform job responsibilities in a professional manner, consistent with the needs of our internal and external customers and in accordance with all policies, procedures, and manuals.
