Description

We're seeking an experienced Senior Supplier Quality Engineer to support a leading medical device organization focused on developing innovative therapies for brain, spinal cord, and pelvic stimulation products. This is an excellent opportunity for a quality engineering professional with supplier quality expertise and experience in regulated manufacturing environments.

Job Responsibilities

Partner with suppliers to ensure delivery of high-quality components, materials, and services.
Lead supplier qualification, onboarding, and ongoing performance monitoring.
Support supplier selection activities and component qualification for new and existing products.
Review component documentation, technical files, and supplier performance data.
Investigate and resolve supplier quality issues across the product lifecycle.
Plan and conduct supplier audits to ensure compliance with GMP, regulatory, and quality standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Component Engineering and New Product Development (NPD), to ensure successful product launches.
Develop receiving inspection strategies, control plans, and supplier quality documentation.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supplier performance and product quality.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
Minimum 4 years of relevant Supplier Quality Engineering experience (5+ years preferred).
Experience working within a regulated industry (Medical Device, Pharmaceutical, Aerospace, or similar).
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication, technical writing, and documentation skills.
Experience working directly with suppliers on qualification, quality, and performance improvement initiatives.
