Title: Supplier Quality Engineer
Location: Minneapolis, MN
Job Summary: BS in Electrical / Mechanical / Manufacturing / Industrial Engineering with 4 year experience in supplier quality engineer, project planning and documentation.
Required Qualifications:
- BS in Electrical / Mechanical / Manufacturing / Industrial Engineering with 4 year experience in supplier quality engineer, project planning and documentation
- Knowledge with AIAG standard, audit and proficient in Minitab / Excel / Power BI preferred
- Certified Lean Six Sigma Green / Black Belt preferred
- Project management skill, experience with MRP system, GD&T, MRB, SCAR, DFM preferred
- Experience with PPAP, APQP, Control Plan, FMEA preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with the supply chain team to develop supply base
- Lead scheduled supplier quality, supplier issue and continuous improvement
- Partner with supply chain for supplier sourcing, qualification, selection and development
- Work with engineering, supply chain, and operations on all stages of new product development, ensuring quality
- Oversee validation, FAI and develop supplier scorecard, track KPIs, and work with suppliers on action plans to improve performance
- Lead technical reviews of new components and existing components with supplier and engineering
