We're looking for a Supplier Quality Engineer to drive supplier performance, quality improvements, and risk mitigation across a critical supply chain. This role blends technical problem-solving with cross-functional collaboration and supplier engagement.

Description
- Manage supplier quality performance and development initiatives
- Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions with vendors
- Conduct supplier audits, evaluations, and qualifications
- Monitor supplier KPIs and drive continuous improvement
- Partner with sourcing, engineering, and manufacturing teams
- Support new product launches and supplier onboarding
- Resolve supplier-related quality issues impacting production
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications
Profile
A successful Supplier Quality Engineer should have:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
- 3-8 years of quality or supplier quality experience
- Experience working with manufacturing suppliers
- Strong root cause analysis skills (8D, Fishbone, etc.)
- Ability to read engineering drawings and specs (GD&T preferred)
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Preferred:
- ISO 9001 or AS9100 experience
- Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or higher)
- Experience with machining, metals, or industrial components
