Supplier Quality Engineer

Salary: $80,000 to $100,000
What your future day will look like:
- Develop supplier base focusing on process, delivery & quality improvement
- Routinely travel to supplier facilities (up to 50% travel)
- Work to ensure suppliers are meeting company specifications and standards
- Work closely with sourcing/purchasing to ensure suppliers are maintaining a high standard of quality performance
- Perform various quality processes including PPAP's, APQP PFMEA to prevent/resolve quality issues
- Determine need for corrective action requests
- Analyze supplier data and track KPI's to rate supplier performance

Type: Direct Hire
To be a champion in this role, you will need:
- Bachelors Degree in a Technical/Engineering field is required
- 3+ years of quality engineering experience (Aerospace or Automotive experience preferred)
- Prior experience with supplier quality
- Knowledge of quality processes including PPAP, APQP & PFMEA's
- Ability to travel (up to 50%)
- Excellent Communication Skills (written & verbal)
