Supervisor - Warehouse

Job Summary:

The Supervisor - Warehouse is responsible for the efficient and effective management of warehouse operations and distribution. They will work closely with warehouse associates and delivery drivers to organize daily work documents, prepare product deliveries, and prioritize daily deliveries. The Supervisor - Warehouse will ensure the smooth movement of goods through the distribution areas to all major outlets on the property. They will also set the standard for the care and cleanliness of the warehouse area, product storage, and rotation. Additionally, the Supervisor - Warehouse will collaborate with receiving coordinators to inspect incoming deliveries for quality and receipt accuracy.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and oversee the daily warehouse operations, including inventory management, storage, and distribution of goods
• Collaborate with warehouse associates and delivery drivers to ensure timely and accurate preparation of product deliveries
• Prioritize daily deliveries based on demand and make necessary changes to the delivery schedule for inventoried items
• Maintain a high standard of care and cleanliness in the warehouse area, ensuring proper storage and rotation of products
• Inspect incoming deliveries in coordination with receiving coordinators to ensure quality and accuracy of products
• Develop and implement efficient processes and procedures to optimize warehouse operations and improve productivity
• Train and mentor warehouse associates on best practices for inventory management, product handling, and warehouse safety
• Monitor and enforce compliance with safety regulations and company policies within the warehouse area
• Address any issues or concerns raised by warehouse associates, delivery drivers, or other stakeholders and take appropriate action to resolve them
• Generate reports and provide regular updates to management on warehouse activities, inventory levels, and any operational issues that may arise

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in warehouse management is a plus
• Proven experience in warehouse operations and distribution, with at least [X] years in a supervisory or leadership role
• Strong knowledge of inventory management principles and best practices
• Proficient in using warehouse management systems and other relevant software applications
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple demands
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams and build positive relationships
• Sound understanding of safety regulations and the ability to enforce them within the warehouse environment
• Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects, as required
