Transmission Learning and Development is hiring its next field trainee program supervisor. This program is a cyclical 12-month immersive experience, built to develop high-potential construction and maintenance talent. As our supervisor, you will be the technical educator and mentor to six trainees, delivering classroom and hands-on training, designed to promote successful careers in the transmission industry. How You’ll Contribute:
- Lead the full cycle recruitment.
- Direct learning and development curriculum and initiatives and select program mentors.
- Coordinate program communication, administration, and marketing.
- Uphold operational standard crucial to the program's success and trainees' safety.
- Ensure program goals and objectives are met and operational barriers are removed.
- Provide recommendations and perspective on the program strategy.
How You’re Qualified:
- Nine or more years of experience in companywide and/or operational training and development programs or relevant experience, including three years of leadership responsibility.
- A degree(s) in education, human resource management, business administration or relevant field may be substituted per LCRA guidelines for certain years of experience.
- Driver's license
How You’ll Stand Out:
- Comprehensive knowledge of the electric utility industry, including compliance with NERC, ERCOT, OSHA, and CDL regulations.
- Understanding of high-voltage systems, electrical circuit theory, and process control.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, including delivering presentations and instructional development.
- Proven skill in leadership, change management, planning, scheduling, and prioritization.
