This Supervisor of Sterile Processing role is based in Loxahatchee, FL, at a 204-bed hospital in Palm Beach County that holds Primary Stroke Center designation and includes a Level II NICU, a full-service Children's Hospital, and a range of surgical services encompassing robotics, interventional radiology, and an orthopedic spine center.

The role. The Supervisor of Sterile Processing leads day-to-day operations of the sterile processing department, overseeing the full cycle of decontamination, cleaning, assembly, and sterilization of surgical instruments and equipment. The supervisor manages staff scheduling and workflow to maintain consistent throughput, conducts and validates sterilization testing, and enforces quality control procedures that meet standards set by the Joint Commission, OSHA, CDC, and AAMI. A significant portion of the role involves onboarding and developing department personnel, providing hands-on training in sterilization techniques and infection control protocols. The supervisor also coordinates with surgical and clinical teams to ensure instrument availability and proper equipment management across the facility.

What we're looking for.
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) or equivalent certification required
  • Minimum of 2–3 years of sterile processing experience required
  • In-depth knowledge of sterilization techniques, infection control practices, and automated sterilization systems

Schedule. Full-time, day shift with no weekend rotation.

Compensation. $20.00 - $28.50/hr plus Relo - up to 5K w/ HR approval
