As a Security Officer – Truck Gate, there is a high focus on customer service since you will be working with people on all shifts, in environments such as office towers, hotels, shopping centers, etc.

• Set schedule: Full- TIme: Saturday–Sunday: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM; Monday–Tuesday: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM 32HRS

Responsibilities of a Truck Gate Security Guard

• Supervise daily operations at the truck gate, ensuring efficient and timely entry and exit of all vehicles.
• Oversee gate staff, including scheduling, training, coaching, and performance management.
• Ensure all drivers follow site procedures, safety regulations, and documentation requirements.
• Verify shipping and receiving documents for accuracy, including bills of lading, delivery orders, and inspection reports.
• Coordinate with warehouse, yard, and logistics teams to manage traffic flow and minimize delays.
• Monitor inbound and outbound truck activity, ensuring accurate recording in tracking systems.
• Enforce safety protocols, including proper PPE usage and compliance with company policies.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies, delays, or driver issues at the gate.
• Maintain communication with carriers, drivers, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
• Generate daily, weekly, or monthly reports on gate activity, performance metrics, and incidents.
• Conduct routine inspections of gate equipment (barriers, kiosks, scanners, etc.) and report maintenance needs.
• Ensure site security by controlling access and verifying driver credentials and vehicle information.
• Respond to emergencies or incidents, documenting and escalating issues as needed.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and customer service.

Qualifications for Concierge Security Guard

• Be authorized to work in the U.S.
• 2-3 years of Security Supervisor or Security Management experience
• Be able to provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED
• Be able to ace (and pass) an extensive screening process
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Proficient in basic phone & computer skills
• If you have Security, Military, Law Enforcement experience – even better!
• You have a state license if required
• 21 years of age or older with a clean Motor Vehicle Record
