Summary:

Provides a safe environment for patients, visitors and staff. Identifies, resolves and documents issues related to liability.

Responsibilities:

1. Responds to requests for security services throughout hospital.
2. Assists medical staff and nursing with patient control issues.
3. Investigates and reports incidents & occurrences of injury, accident, loss or damage to property, & general liability.
4. Conducts daily inspection rounds of the facility, documents security, safety and environmental conditions.
5. Facilitates repair or correction and follows up on status of ongoing repairs to resolve safety or security problems.
6. Participates in staff meetings, security consultations, orientation and training related to security within departments throughout the hospital.
7. Investigates and resolves customer service issues as assigned by the security desk.
8. Responsible for shift activity and evaluation of subordinates' performance.
9. Responsible for developing a monthly working schedule for 30 personnel department.
10. Responsible for weekly payroll for 30 personnel department.
11. Fulfills all compliance responsibilities related to the position.
12. Performs other duties as assigned.

ASSOCIATE'S LVL DGRE
