Supervisor, School Therapy Services

General Summary/Responsibilities:

The Supervisor is responsible for helping to lead the clinical operations and activities within an assigned area. This position also will assist with coordinating those activities with others, and for empowering and focusing staff to operationalize the Vision, Mission, and Values of Premier Health. This individual will have clinical oversight responsibility for their assigned area of responsibility and when appropriate, direct clinical supervision of program staff, which includes dependently and independently licensed therapists. This individual will assist program leadership with building and maintaining relationships with external customers for purposes of marketing, communication, and service development/coordination.

Education

Minimum Level of Education Required: Master's degree

Additional requirements:

Type of degree: Masters

Area of study or major: Relevant Social Science field

Licensure/Certification/Registration

Licensed in the state of Ohio as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor-Supervisor (LPCC-S) or Licensed Independent Social Worker-Supervisor (LISW-S)

Experience

Minimum Level of Experience Required: 3 - 5 years of job related experience

Other experience requirements:

  • Training and experience in childhood and adolescent mental health services.
  • Training and experience in the types of services provided by the team, with age-appropriate competency, using the Diagnostic and Statistical manual of Mental Disorders (DSM-5 or subsequent revisions).

Knowledge/Skills

  • Demonstrated aptitude for management, leadership, and administrative duties. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with children, parents, community members and professionals. Physical abilities required include sufficient mobility, language skills, and to perform written paperwork.
