Job Summary/Purpose
All members of Entergy’s safety function will be expected to own safety, work to prevent incidents and seek to improve with the understanding that zero harm is possible. As a leader, you will be expected to role model the behaviors expected from your team such as timely reporting, accurate documentation, and meeting deadlines. The supervisor will lead, develop, manage, and improve assigned safety and occupational health programs. There will be regular opportunities to demonstrate skills in leadership, delegation, contract management and communications. This position will also be required to present to leadership the health of the program they are responsible for, and any deficiencies identified along with sustainable solutions to prevent future issues. It will be expected that the supervisor engages with their team to support their growth and build bench strength within the safety function.
Job Duties/Responsibilities
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum Education: Bachelor’s Preferred
Minimum Experience: 10+ years industry/safety experience with 1+ years of supervisory experience preferred.
Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities
Any Certificates, Licenses, etc.:Required: ASP/CSP/SMS/CUSP/CIH or equivalent
