Routine Facilitator I - Job Summary
This role is essentially a front-line manufacturing leader responsible for driving safety, quality, productivity, cost control, environmental compliance, and employee development within a production cell or operational area. The position focuses heavily on continuous improvement, standardization, training, auditing, problem-solving, and team leadership using GBS principles, QIS methodology, Kaizen events, and routine management processes.

Lead and support:

Kaizen events
Failure analysis activities
Quality Improvement System (QIS) processes
Identify process improvement opportunities.
Analyze trends, symptoms, failures, and production issues.
Implement solutions that improve safety, quality, and productivity.
Safety & Environmental Compliance
Operational Excellence
Standardization & Auditing
Develop and maintain:
Control standards
Management standards
Routine procedures
Job aids
One-point lessons
Process guarantee tables
Conduct compliance audits.
Document findings and drive corrective actions.
Update standards when process changes occur.
Required Qualifications
Education
Experience
3-5 years of experience in:
Manufacturing
Engineering
Business Administration
Material Science
Experience with:
Production quality systems
Standardization processes
Industrial/manufacturing environments
Steel manufacturing operations:
Scrap processing
Melting
Casting
Rolling
Maintenance
Finishing
Shipping/Warehouse operations
Supervisory or facilitation experience
Leadership Skills
