Expected pay for this position is $39.13 - $46.03/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. This is a Salaried position.

Overview:

POSITION SUMMARY: ​The Respiratory Therapy Supervisor is responsible for the daily operation of the Respiratory Care Department. Ensures that the staff complies with departmental and institutional policies and procedures. Develops monthly staffing schedules within budgetary limitations and ensures staff coverage in case of emergent staffing issues. Ensures that staff members are compliant with hospital and organizational annual and ongoing requirements. Point of contact for educational opportunities. Supports leadership by providing input in performance discussions and evaluations.

Qualifications:

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: Associates

Licenses/Certifications: NBRC-National Board for Respiratory Care

Other Licenses/Certifications: Current Respiratory Care Practitioner license in the current state

Current National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) Registered Respiratory Therapy credential if credentialed after July 2002.

American Heart Association BLS

Experience: 3 years Respiratory Therapy experience and professional level of knowledge of practice and theory.

Analytical skills necessary to organize and direct the work of others, develop, implement and administer policies, procedures, budgets and respiratory therapy practices.

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: Bachelor’s Degree

Licensure/Certifications: Adult Critical Care Specialty credential

Registered Pulmonary Function Technician credential

Asthma Educator- Certified credentials

Current Neonatal Pediatric Specialty credential from the NBRC ACLS, PALS, NRP
