Description

Midwest Aerospace Casting is seeking a 3rd Shift Production Supervisor to lead and support production operations while ensuring safety, quality, productivity, and employee development goals are achieved.

Shift Schedule

  • Permanent 3rd Shift: 8:30 PM - 4:30AM
  • 20% Shift Differential
  • Training Requirement: Candidates must be willing to train on 1st Shift (6:00 AM - 2:30 PM) for approximately 2-3 months, or as needed, before transitioning to the permanent 3rd Shift schedule.

Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate daily production activities on 3rd shift.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and company policies.
  • Monitor production schedules and workflow to meet customer requirements.
  • Coach, train, and develop employees to maximize performance and engagement.
  • Address employee relations issues and maintain a positive work environment.
  • Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Engineering, and other departments to resolve production concerns.
  • Track and report production metrics, attendance, and shift performance.
  • Promote continuous improvement initiatives and operational excellence.

Qualifications

  • Previous manufacturing leadership or supervisory experience required.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with aerospace, foundry, metal casting, or similar manufacturing operations preferred.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and production reporting systems.
