Overview:
The Supervisor Practice I serves as an onsite clinic operations and financial resource, supporting the Medical Director, Department Administrator, Practice Manager, staff, and patients. This role oversees financial processes, ensures efficient execution of daily business and clinical operations, and supervises assigned staff. The incumbent plays a key role in maintaining compliance, improving workflows, and enhancing patient and staff experiences.
Responsibilities:
Act as an onsite operational and financial problem solver for clinic leadership and staff
Oversee financial processes and ensure accurate execution of daily business office functions
Supervise daily operations of assigned staff, including scheduling and workflow management
Ensure compliance with UFHP policies and practice directives
Address and resolve patient complaints, concerns, and service issues
Communicate regularly with physicians and respond to operational needs
Evaluate clinic financial and operational processes; recommend and implement improvements
Support clinic operations including opening/closing procedures, facility maintenance, security concerns, and vendor/contractor coordination
Promote a high standard of customer service and team collaboration
Qualifications:
Minimum Education & Experience Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent and four (4) years of financial or medical practice experience required
Substitutions:
Bachelor’s degree may substitute for two (2) years of experience
Associate degree may substitute for one (1) year of experience
Experience with:
Staff recruitment and hiring
Performance evaluations and disciplinary actions
One (1) year of supervisory experience preferred
