Description
Must fulfill and master the duties of the Pharmacy Technician job description. To plan, direct, coordinate and implement pharmacy services to include integration of technician and operation activities in accordance with regulations, pharmacy policies and procedures. Performs management functions as they apply to Pharmacy Technicians. These functions include securing all technical personnel needs, including oversight of IV room operations, providing feedback for practices and performances, assisting with inventory management and being the back up buyer. Leads technician on-boarding and training for all operational positions. Prepares Pharmacy Technician work, rotational, and on-call schedule. Oversees the rotations of the pharmacy technician students and serves as a preceptor with the Pharmacy Technician Schools. Conducts regularly scheduled Pharmacy Technician meetings of an educational or business nature and disseminates the minutes.
