Operations Supervisor – Motor Coach Transportation Martz Bus, a leader in motor coach transportation is currently accepting applications for the position of Operations Supervisor for our Martz Maryland location in Hyattsville. Martz Bus is family owned and operated and has been in the motor coach industry for over a century. This is a leadership position, transportation experience is beneficial, but not required. The Operations Supervisor is responsible for leading, supervising, and dispatching motor coach operators from our Waldorf, MD, location. The Operations Supervisor will coordinate daily site operations, provide leadership to drivers, train, evaluate, mentor, and guide drivers. The Operations Supervisor is responsible for scheduling, contingency planning, and coordinating site motor coach operations and dispatch. The Operations Supervisor assists the Hyattsville, MD, Operations Manager to meet the operational needs of the site and overall Martz MD. Transportation experience is beneficial, but this is a leadership position, and leadership experience will outweigh transportation experience. The right candidate must meet the minimum qualification for the position which are: high school diploma or equivalent and five years of experience in supervision. The right candidate must have excellent written and oral communication skills, employee engagement skills, solid computer skills, available off-hours, be hands on, and willing to work flexible schedules if needed. Must have a flexible schedule throughout the week.
