The Supervisor of Humanities and Mathematics K-4 will support high-quality instruction across the district's elementary schools by leading curriculum implementation, coaching teachers, facilitating professional learning, and partnering with building administrators to strengthen instructional practices. The successful candidate will foster collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement to advance student achievement.

Qualifications

Required:

  • New Jersey Supervisor Certificate or eligibility.
  • New Jersey instructional certificate with successful teaching experience.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of successful educational experience.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of curriculum development, instructional best practices, assessment, and professional learning.
  • Experience analyzing student achievement data to inform instructional decision-making.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build collaborative relationships with staff, students, and families.

Preferred:

  • Experience coaching teachers and facilitating professional development.
  • Experience supporting elementary literacy and mathematics instruction.
  • Knowledge of New Jersey Student Learning Standards and evidence-based instructional practices.

Performance Responsibilities

The successful candidate will:

  • Support the implementation of district curriculum and instructional initiatives.
  • Coach and support teachers to improve instructional practice and student achievement driven by data analysis.
  • Plan, facilitate, and evaluate professional learning opportunities.
  • Collaborate with principals and district administrators to support school improvement efforts.
  • Assist with curriculum review, resource selection, and instructional planning.
  • Support the implementation and analysis of local and state assessment data.
  • Promote consistent instructional expectations and best practices across schools.
  • Support new teacher induction, mentoring, and instructional coaching.
  • Perform teacher observations and evaluations in accordance with New Jersey regulations and district procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Superintendent or designee.

Salary Range & Benefits

Salary Range: $110,667 (minimum) to $154,947 (maximum) commensurate with experience and in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
